What's "perfect"?

We often catch ourselves manifesting the perfect guy or girl, but we never truly sit and think about what is considered "settling". I reached out to a few friends to get a better understanding of what the "perfect match" is for them. While every response was different, I did spot something they all had in common. Each person gave me a paragraph of these perfect things but none of them said "my person is the perfect person for me." So I questioned... Is the person you settled with not the perfect person?

Yet, that's not exactly what it happens to be. No one you ever meet will ever have every little thing checked off on your "perfect list". Every person you meet will have flaws you don't particularly agree with. However, the real question is.. are you willing to stay on their side? are you willing to set your list to the side and carry their baggage with them? THATS the real question!

Who said you had to settle? YOU DONT! You can stay single until your perfect guy or girl comes along to sweep you off your feet. But let me say this, your perfect person WILL have baggage as well. You will have to walk with them and share that baggage as a unit.

The love of your life? BAGGAGE! Your soulmate? BAGGAGE! Twin flame??

B A G G A G E!!!! No one is going to come without a challenge.

I feel like we need to put ourselves in that mindset a little more and get out of the mindset that we won't have to deal with anything if we get the perfect person.

Nobody is perfect. It's more so about whose WORTH sharing that baggage with and being open enough to be receptive of that. Now if you choose not to deal with a specific person because you don't feel like they're worth going through the motions for.... let them go and move on. Don't drain yourself for anyone.

BUT if you do find that person that makes you feel like every little and big thing will be worth it in the end as long as you still have them? THATS what you stick around for. ESPECIALLY if the feelings are reciprocated.

&Lastly, don't quote me on this but.... some shit is just not worth sticking out!
