Let's Start Over...

How many of us has had to start over? & How many of us didn't want to but was forced to?

Why do we hate change?

Because it's uncomfortable. We don't know how to deal with being taken out of our comfort zone. When we feel our happiest with another human being, we create this safe space for ourselves. We start to get comfortable with where consistency is... which is totally normal. However, it's also what creates the fear behind change.

Transition is what keeps us alive. It shows us how much more life there is to live after derailing. Growth moves with time, and we have a lot of it.

I'm currently experiencing so much change. In September I moved to the city of Atlanta, away from my home in Chicago. The place where my heart beats the most, with the people who keep me on the surface of my own ocean. How hard was it? Lol...

I cried the whole entire plane ride, walking through the airport, going through TSA, & closing my moms car door. I miss home every single day. I miss the life I had there and the friends that light my soul on fire anytime I'm around them. I could write a book about how hard this transition is for me. While everyone else thinks I got up and left without hesitation or complication. I still fight it every single day. Being homesick, calling my mom to cry about what inconvenienced me for the day. If you don't know, I'm the only child. It's always been just my mother and I. So moving miles away from her was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life. I live somewhere I can't see her anymore, I can't just go to her house and sleep in her bed when I feel alone, I can't hug her when I wanna feel safe, and I can't hold her hand while she's asleep and watch movies in her bed.

But, I had to do this for me.

Alignment, that's a very important word for me. God put me in this alignment for transition and growth. That's not something to ignore all because you're comfortable. You have to get out of that comfort zone, even if it's miles away or even if it's with someone else.

If you're in a position right now where you have to start over because the last situation did not help you grow. You're in the right space and on the right path. Change is amazing.. starting over is uncomfortable yes, but it's good for the soul. If you're letting go of a situation that did not serve you, I am so proud of you. I know we all have our days where were back to "day 1". You did good for days at a time and then we have one vulnerable moment that puts us back at day 1. That's perfectly fine, have your day, dust yourself off and start again. There's nothing wrong with starting over, as long as you're growing.

& if you're stuck... mentally you just aren't ready for the transition yet. When it's your time.. you'll know. Don't rush God's timing..

If you don't believe in God, don't rush the universe. Everything will be aligned at the right moment.
